Operations Manager Outbound (m/w/d)

• Leading and developing the outbound operations team • Ensuring the timely processing of customer orders and customer satisfaction • Strategic resource planning and optimal coordination of order volumes and staffing • Managing, monitoring, and optimizing work processes, as well as reviewing process quality • Ensuring compliance with contractual service levels and productivity targets • Initiating and implementing improvement projects • Analyzing and monitoring key performance indicators and supporting the team in implementing measures • Participating in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits and certifications Ihr Profil: • A bachelor’s degree in economics with a focus on logistics or a comparable field, orcompleted vocational training in a relevant field • Several years of hands-on logistics experience in a logistics company and experience in managing a team (>50 employees, ideally in a multi-shift system) • Comprehensive knowledge of shipping and container scheduling • A fair, motivating, and consistent leadership style • A strong hands-on approach, organizational skills, and a high level of customer and service awareness • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (ideally SAP) • Good written and spoken English skills
