As a Widebody Cabin Project Manager(d/m/w), you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and optimization of cabin and safety equipment projects in an aeronautics environment. Based in Finkenwerder, this full-time role requires a professional with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and the ability to manage risk, support strategic initiatives, and ensure alignment with program objectives. You will work collaboratively within the Cabin & ESI/MSI department to deliver high-impact outcomes and innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Driving risk and opportunity management within the Cabin/ESI/MSI scope.
- Contributing to, and applying, parts of the overall program strategy, including continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting or leading strategic, de-risking, competitive, and improvement projects aligned with program objectives.
- Creating, coordinating, and delivering project management milestone documentation using established methodologies.
- Managing crises by exception, including arbitration between programs, line-fit, and in-service requirements.
- Helping to establish new ways of working within the team and participating in Widebody Program governance activities.
- Handling budget allocation through Airbus Operational Planning (AOP) and decision-making for specific budget lines.
#### VORAUSSSETZUNGEN:
We are seeking a professional with a blend of skills, education, and experience to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this role. You will need to meet the following requirements:
- Hold at least a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
- Have between 1 to 3 years of experience in customer service, project leadership, project management, or supply chain functions.
- Demonstrate expertise in cost management (both recurring and non-recurring costs).
- Bring strong knowledge in areas like risk management, change management, and stakeholder management.
- Possess exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Showcase excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a proven ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous tasks.
- Have fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of German or French is considered a plus.
- Experience with cabin design or a PM certification is advantageous.
