Your responsibilities Research and evaluation of different time series database technologies with respect to the product requirements and performance-related aspects Development of a performance-optimized data model for storing machine telemetry data Implementation of a backend service for storing incoming telemetry data in a suitable time series database using the developed data model Development of a strategy for migrating existing time series data to the new data model Performance evaluation of the developed solution Your qualifications Hands-on experience with databases, ideally time series databases First experience in programming languages such as C# or Go Basic knowledge in container technologies like Docker and ideally Kubernetes Ideally first experience with data streaming & messaging technologies like Apache Kafka/Redpanda/MQTT Strong ability to work goal-oriented and independently while being aligned with the development team Profound communication skills in both German and English Our offer As a student you will enjoy a modern and comforting work environment with enthusiastic, highly supportive and open-minded colleagues in our Ulm office.
