Thermal Engineer (m/f/d)

#### Your Tasks - Design and development of thermal control systems - Conceptual design, sizing, verification and validation of thermal control systems according to customer requirements and feasibility with regard to manufacturing, integration, cost, schedule, quality and risk - Thermal analysis including the creation of thermal models, verification and assessment of analysis results - Hardware definition based on the chosen thermal control design solutions and product ownership during implementation and verification - Support of reviews (from system to equipment level) and presentation of work results to internal and external customers - Technical supervision of thermal hardware sub-contractors and support of the subcontractor manager - Support of system engineers during design, development and implementation at system and sub-system level - Support of project management office with work planning and progress reporting #### Your Qualifications - Degree in engineering with a major in aerospace engineering or comparable qualifications - Several years of professional experience in space thermal sub-system engineering is preferred - Experience in the design of thermal control systems, spacecraft thermal engineering and analysis for spacecraft is preferred - Strong problem-solving skills - High motivation and proactive involvement with a strong passion for space and spacecraft engineering - Strong communication and negotiation skills (preferably English and German) - Experience in subcontractor management is preferred - In-depth knowledge of ESATAN-TMS, or a similar thermal analysis software - Used to work in an international environment
