Test Engineer AxL (m/f/d)

Your mission • Creation of test plans, test specifications, and test data • Support in the development of test strategies and the continuous improvement of manual and automated test processes • Continuous development, maintenance, and optimization of test frameworks • Design, implementation, and enhancement of an automated regression test suite • Conducting and evaluating software tests at our offices and at our customers’ sites • Creating test reports and statistics • Fault localization and creation of clear, meaningful issue reports in close collaboration with software development • Review and validation of system requirements with a focus on testability and quality • Application of strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail Your profile • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent • Hands-on experience in executing both manual and automated tests, with the flexibility to switch between both as required • Structured, analytical mindset, precise working style, proactive attitude and strong team orientation • Solid knowledge of XML, XPath and XQuery • Good understanding of network protocols and standards, including SOAP, REST and Web Services • Experience with client–server architectures • Experience in dealing with software and computer systems on different platforms (Windows, Linux) • Experience with frontend test automation frameworks • Practical experience with at least one programming or scripting language • Experience with API test automation tools • ISTQB certification or a successfully completed technical degree (computer science or similar) or equivalent professional experience as a test engineer • Playwright desirable • Practical experience with at least one programming or scripting language (preferably Python) • Experience with API test automation tools (preferably SoapUI) • Very good spoken and written English • German skills are an advantage Why us? • Flexitime without core working time • 30 days holiday • Good work-life balance due to mobile working • Workation is possible • Individual support with regular further training programmes • Working in international teams • Possibility to use Jobrad, Wellpass, Deutschlandticket, Edenred City Card, corporate benefits • Workplace in the four-country region on Lake Constance with attractive leisure opportunities About usIndra Group (www.indragroup.com) is one of the leading European companies that focuses on advanced technologies, with over 60,000 professionals, presence in 46 countries, and commercial operations in more than 140 markets.
