Our Josef-Schwarz-School is situated close to nature in Erlenbach and centrally located in Heilbronn. Teacher of Music
(in part-time – marginal employment on a German mini-job basis is also possible)

Your Responsibilities
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging, competence-oriented Music lessons based on the relevant curricula
- Creating creative, practice-oriented and cognitively challenging learning opportunities in Music
- Teaching musical foundations, music theory and practical musical skills in an age-appropriate, differentiated and student-centred way
- Using a variety of teaching methods and materials to meet students’ different needs, interests and musical backgrounds
- Encouraging students’ musical expression, creativity, confidence, collaboration and cultural awareness
- Actively contributing to the musical life of the school, for example through performances, projects, ensembles, clubs or interdisciplinary formats
Your Profile
- Ideally qualified as a secondary school teacher, for example with Qualified Teacher Status or a qualification legally equivalent to the German Second State Examination; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree in music, music education, or musicology
- Sound subject knowledge in Music and enthusiasm for teaching musical content in a lively, creative and competence-oriented way
- Interest in the development and implementation of new educational concepts, combined with commitment and team spirit
- Fluency in German (B2/C1) and native-level English proficiency
- Identification with the values and principles of a pedagogy that focuses on the individual development of students
