Senior Cost Accountant

Your responsibilities • Maintain and enhance standard costing systems (material, labor, overhead) • Analyze manufacturing variances, cost of goods sold, and profitability • Oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, and physical counts • Support month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting • Evaluate cost impacts of product, material, and process changes • Partner with operations and supply chain to improve cost accuracy and margins • Support capital projects, fixed assets, and cost tracking • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls • Drive continuous improvement in processes and ERP systems Your profile • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing • Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory, and variance analysis • SAP ERP system experience and advanced Excel skills • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Benefits • Medical, Dental, Vision insurance offered at 30 days of employment • Generous Educational Reimbursement program • Company sponsored Life and Disability Insurance • Paid Time Off • Ten (10) Paid Holidays per year • 401K with Company Match Einsatzort: Waukesha ǀ Wisconsin In order to ensure our success in the future, too, we need first-class employees – and we also have plenty to offer them.
