Tasks Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end data migration process from SAP S4/HANA to GCP. • Engage with business stakeholders to understand current processes and define required data transformation and migration needs. • Translate business requirements into detailed mapping documents for the engineering teams. • Validate data transformations and ensure alignment with business logic and expectations. • Perform data validation and reconciliation in production environments post-migration. • Act as the central liaison between business users and engineering teams throughout the migration lifecycle. • Maintain data integrity and quality across systems during and after migration. • Provide support and guidance to engineering teams on SAP S4/HANA, SQL, and GCP integration. Profile We are seeking a highly experienced Data Steward to lead the end-to-end migration from SAP S4/HANA to GCP with planning and manufacturing areas. This role demands a strong understanding of data workflows, business processes, and hands-on data management expertise. The ideal candidate will work closely with both business stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure successful and accurate data migration. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 7+ years of Experience with and understanding of functional SAP Planning and Manufacturing areas • Strong experience with SAP S4/HANA. • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures and DDL (Data Definition Language) commands. • Experience with and understanding of functional SAP Planning and Manufacturing • Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, SQL and data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Proven ability to understand and map complex business processes into data workflows. • Experience in data validation, especially in production environments. • Excellent communication skills to effectively work with business users and technical teams. • Experience creating detailed and accurate data mapping documentation. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior experience in similar end-to-end enterprise data migrations. • Familiarity with data governance and stewardship best practices.
