As an Operations Supervisor Logistics & Sorting Center (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our sorting centers while leading teams and driving operational excellence. Your Responsibilities * Lead, motivate, and develop Operations Team Leaders and operational employees within the sorting center * Oversee daily sorting center operations to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and service targets are consistently achieved * Monitor operational KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement corrective actions where necessary * Coordinate workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations * Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of operational best practices * Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health & safety regulations * Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues and support timely problem resolution * Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to optimize end-to-end operational performance * Prepare operational reports and provide regular performance updates to management * Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management activities within the operations team Your Profile * Several years of experience in logistics, parcel delivery, warehousing, transportation, supply chain, or a similar operational environment * Proven leadership experience managing Team Leaders or larger operational teams * Strong understanding of sorting center, hub, distribution center, or last-mile operations * Experience working with operational KPIs, productivity metrics, and performance management * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills * Hands-on mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability * English proficiency required * German and/or Chinese language skills are considered an advantage What We Offer * Opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing logistics companies globally * Dynamic and international working environment * High level of responsibility and visibility within the organization * Excellent career development opportunities * Competitive compensation package * Loyalty bonus scheme Additional Information * Employment Type: Full-time * Work Model: On-site * Contract Type: Fixed-term contract (2 years) * Working Hours: 40 hours per week * Annual Leave: 25 days Why Join J&T Express?
