Frontend Engineer - Banking Platform (m/f/x)

Be part of the team building and evolving a native application that supports internal trading workflows, where reliability, security, and performance matter. You’ll work across the full application stack, from a React and TypeScript frontend to a Rust core backend for frontend, with ownership over real-time data flows, authentication, release automation, and operational quality. • Build and maintain a native cross-platform application using React, TypeScript, Vite and Rust. • Develop user-facing product features with a strong focus on usability, performance, and maintainability. • Design and evolve Rust application logic for authentication, IPC contracts, service integrations, and real-time stream handling. • Build and maintain streaming flows for live data, including throttling, backpressure handling, and multi-window consistency. • Maintain secure authentication and authorization flows based on OIDC and Keycloak. • Own and improve CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions, including validation, coverage, packaging, signing, and release publishing. • Support release and delivery workflows across Windows and macOS. • Work with AWS services used in delivery and operational workflows, especially S3, IAM roles, OIDC-based access, and secrets handling. • Improve observability through logging, metrics, runtime diagnostics, and better release visibility. • Collaborate on application architecture, testing strategy, and engineering standards across frontend, backend, and operational concerns. • A university degree in a relevant field of study (e.g. computer science, engineering, sciences, ...) or a comparable qualification. • Extensive experience in our tech stack: React, TypeScript, Vite, Rust, GitHub Actions, AWS. • Strong experience building production software with React and TypeScript. • Basic Rust proficiency, or solid experience in a compiled backend or systems language with the ability to become productive in Rust quickly. • Experience building or maintaining complex user-facing applications in production. • Good understanding of authentication and security fundamentals, especially OAuth2 and OIDC-style flows. • Experience with real-time or event-driven systems such as WebSockets or streaming data pipelines. • Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines and release workflows in GitHub Actions. • Basic AWS knowledge relevant to software delivery and operations. • Strong analytical thinking, both in the technical and in the product domain. • Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - engineering, product, or other stakeholders. • A passion for well architected, testable and documented code. • Experience improving observability through logs, metrics, and production diagnostics is a plus. • Experience with native application packaging, updater/signing flows, and cross-platform release automation is a plus. • Experience with Keycloak, backend-for-frontend architecture, or real-time data-heavy systems is a plus. • Experience using coding agents (e.g., Codex or similar AI-assisted development tools) is a plus. • Be part of one of the fastest-growing and most visible Fintech startups in Europe, creating innovative services that have a substantial impact on the lives of our customers • Work with an international, diverse, inclusive, and ever-growing team that loves creating the best products for our clients • Be productive with the latest hardware and tools • Learn and grow by joining our in-house knowledge sharing or career development sessions and spending your individual Education Budget  • Learn and experience German culture first hand by joining our free German language classes • International relocation support is provided if required  • Opportunity to work from abroad • Benefit from an attractive compensation package and from the company pension scheme • Monthly contribution of 50% for the ‘Deutschland Jobticket’ • Say goodbye to order commissions and say hello to your complimentary subscription of Scalable Capital's PRIME+ Broker • Enjoy flexible and discounted sports activities with Urban Sports Club
