Electrical Lead (m/f/d) Data Center Construction Your Tasks PORR is expanding its data center activities and is seeking an Electrical Lead to manage electrical site delivery on a large data center construction project. The role covers electrical installation, subcontractor coordination, technical interfaces, procurement follow-up, quality control, testing support, and commissioning readiness. Leadership of electrical works on site, including containment, cabling, switchgear, LV/MV systems, UPS, generators, earthing, lighting, life safety interfaces, and testing support Coordination of electrical subcontractors and verification of compliance with current drawings, specifications, and approved method statements Review of electrical drawings, technical submissions, procurement status, and installation details Coordination of electrical interfaces with mechanical, CSA, BMS, security, telecoms, fire protection, and commissioning teams Tracking of long-lead equipment, access requirements, energisation milestones, and testing readiness Coordination of inspections with QA/QC and completion of test records, checklists, and handover documents Support in planning of energisation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities Safe control of electrical works, including permits, isolations, and energised-area rules Your Profile Degree in electrical engineering or comparable electrical qualification Minimum 8 years' electrical construction experience on large projects Experience in data center, mission-critical, industrial, energy, or high-tech projects preferred Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems, power distribution, generators, UPS, containment, cabling, earthing, testing, and commissioning interfaces Good understanding of redundancy, critical power paths, energisation sequence, and documentation requirements Experience managing electrical subcontractors and vendor packages Relevant electrical qualifications or authorisations desirable Fluency in English; German or Polish language skills advantageous Your Benefits There are many reasons to choose a job at PORR: Happiness - Membership in a highly motivated, collaborative team working together on challenging tasks and exciting projects Career - Individual training and development opportunities to support long-term professional goals Extras - A wide range of additional benefits and discounts enhancing both everyday work and leisure time Health - Regular health initiatives and comprehensive insurance coverage through PORR CARE+ Team Spirit - Strong team cohesion through company events, networking activities, and sports events Job Security & Stability - A secure and stable position within a financially strong and well-established construction group Personal Development - Support for individual life phases, including sabbaticals and caregiving arrangements Jetzt bewerben »
