If so, I have just the job for you: a leading international company is currently seeking a AWS Cloud Architect (m/f/d) for a permanent role. In this role, you will play an active part in designing and further developing a modern AWS self-service platform for international teams. You will combine strategic architecture work with a strong hands-on focus and play a key role in driving forward areas such as cloud governance, security, automation and FinOps . Aufgaben Responsibility for the further development of a scalable AWS Enterprise Cloud architecture Setting up and optimising modern landing zone and multi-account structures using AWS Organizations and Control Tower Defining and implementing governance, security and compliance standards within the AWS platform Supporting internal teams as a technical enabler and point of contact for cloud-related matters Hands-on setup and operation of cloud infrastructures using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / OpenTofu) Automation of deployments, infrastructure processes and platform services Further development of secure network and security concepts including VPC, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, GuardDuty, Security Hub and Config Responsibility for cloud cost optimisation and FinOps initiatives to ensure sustainable resource utilisation Ensuring the stability, scalability and reliability of the cloud platform Close collaboration with international teams, external partners and consultancies Contributing to future innovation projects in the field of AI services and AWS Bedrock Profil Several years’ experience in the AWS environment , ideally 5+ years Substantial experience in enterprise environments with complex cloud architectures In-depth expertise in AWS Organizations, SCPs, Control Tower and Landing Zones Excellent knowledge of IAM / Identity Centre (SSO) , AWS networking and security services Strong hands-on approach with a focus on technical implementation and automation Very good experience with Terraform/OpenTofu and Infrastructure as Code Ideally, knowledge of Kubernetes, observability or configuration management Interest in modern AI technologies such as OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude or AWS Bedrock An independent and structured approach to work, as well as strong communication skills Very good command of English ; knowledge of German would be an advantage (at least B1 level) Wir bieten 30 days’ annual leave Attractive salary package Additional attractive remuneration for on-call duty 25 days per year of remote work from abroad Regular Lunch & Learn sessions for knowledge sharing and tech updates Corporate benefits and attractive staff discounts Contribution towards the Deutschlandticket / public transport Bicycle leasing scheme for sustainable mobility Exciting enterprise projects using state-of-the-art AWS technologies A high degree of creative freedom and active involvement in cloud strategies Collaboration with international teams and modern platform structures Training and development opportunities in the field of Cloud & AI Quarterly team events and meet-ups 1 day of working from home per week Kontakt Interested?
